We use heavy-wall, commercial-grade galvanized steel foundation posts, driven directly 4 feet into the ground on this Kokomo installation. The post brackets are visible before the white vinyl sleeves go over the steel posts.

For aluminum fences, Ideal Fence uses heavy-wall aluminum I-beam posts driven 3 feet into the ground.
02 / WHITE SLEEVES & BOTTOM RAILS
The white vinyl goes over the steel.
Next, white vinyl post sleeves cover the steel posts and brackets. The bottom rails are inserted between the sleeved posts before the privacy panels are added.
03 / THE FINISHED FENCE
The completed Kokomo fence.
The final photos show this Kokomo project complete: white vinyl privacy panels, matching gates and post caps, with the steel foundation posts and brackets concealed inside the white sleeves.
